Johnston County Firefighter, Chris Daniels, died on August 17 while on duty with Pine Level Fire Department. Daniels was a career firefighter with Smithfield FD, and a part-time firefighter at Pine Level, Selma, and Thanksgiving Fire Departments. Our prayers are with his family and fellow firefighters.
