All North Carolina Fire Departments are invited to participate in the procession as City of Newton and Sherrills Ford-Terrell Fire Rescue Captain, Bradley Long, is moved from Bennett Funeral Home in Conover to Mountain View Baptist Church, Maiden, NC. The details are as follows:
1100 hours:
All vehicles to arrive at 610 Conover Blvd West (HWY 70), Conover, NC 28613. All apparatus will be placed in a line at the designated staging area by on-site law enforcement.

Once all vehicles are placed in the procession line and the line begins moving please follow the actions of the vehicle in front of you. There is a planned stop on the route to allow Captain Long to ride through his station at the City of Newton Fire Department Station 2. It is important for all vehicles to follow the vehicle in front of them and the directions of Law Enforcement.

The receiving does not begin until 16:00, once Capt. Long arrives at Mountain View Baptist Church, only Sherrills Ford Terrell and Newton FD apparatus will stop at the church, all other apparatus are dismissed from the procession at that time.
