Lieutenant George W. House Sr, Asheville - Died at Memorial Mission hospital, following a brief illness. He was also an assistant drill instructor. He was 40 years old. [ From his death certificate, via familysearch.org, it looks like he suffered an aneurysm six days earlier. ]
