Firefighter Death Notification – Bladen County

BLADEN COUNTY – A Deputy Fire Marshal with Bladen County Emergency Services passed away Wednesday night from heart issues.

According to Emergency Services Director Bradley Kinlaw, John McClelland Hall, age 48 of Bladenboro, became ill while responding to a house fire in the Carvers Creek Community Saturday.

Kinlaw said Hall had been on bed rest since the incident and was taken to the hospital Wednesday.

Hall was also the Deputy Fire Chief of Clarkton Fire Department and was an active firefighter with Bladenboro Fire Department.

In addition to emergency services, Hall was also the Red Cross representative for Bladen County.

Arrangements are as follows:

Visitation will be  Monday November 12, 2012  11am to 1pm at Galeed Baptist Church 571 Galeed Church Road, Bladenboro, NC 28320.
Funeral Service will follow at the church.
