Former N.C. State Fire Marshall Jim Long Dies

There will be visitation at Brown-Wynn on St. Mary’s Street in Raleigh on Wednesday.

There will be two visitations, one from 2-4 and another from 6-8.

There will be a memorial service on Thursday at 2:00 at the Hayes Barton Baptist Church at 5 Points. (Glenwood and Whitaker Mill Rd)

The burial will be on Friday at the church where Jim Long grew up, and he will be buried next to his parents. The Church is the Church of the Holy Comforter Episcopal Church in Burlington. There will be a visitation from 10-12 there, and service at 2.
