Apparatus Registration for 2025 Memorial Service

The 2025 North Carolina Fallen Firefighter Foundation (NCFFF) Memorial will be held on May 10, 2025, at 1:00 pm in Raleigh. Due to restrictions on parades in the City of Raleigh, the NCFFF cannot have a parade as part of the 2025 Memorial Weekend. As unfortunate as that is, we still would like to have as many fire trucks from departments that have experienced a Line of Duty Death attend the memorial as possible.

This year, we will be meeting and stage all apparatus in the parking lot of Sam’s Club located at 2537 S. Saunders Street, Raleigh NC 27603. When the time is right, all apparatus will drive into Downtown Raleigh and park around Nash Square. (see map for the route). At 10:30 am, there will be a drivers’ meeting in the parking lot of Sam’s Club to give instructions for the apparatus drivers. As difficult as it is to say this, if your apparatus/crew cannot, or does not want to stay for the entire memorial service, we really do not recommend attending this year. Due to not being able to have a parade, and having to stage apparatus around Nash Square, we do not have the resources to handle apparatus that are not able to stay for the Memorial.

Units participating will report to STAGING from 08:00 – 10:00 on Saturday, May 10, 2025. Units will be sorted upon arrival (current year vs. previous years). A drivers meeting will be held at 10:30.  We will be lined up ready to go by 11:30. Apparatus will be parked adjacent to Nash Square, and will remain there until the end of the Memorial Service (approximately 14:30).
