Death of Sidney (Sid) Weiner, No. 7 Township Fire Department

We regret to inform you that Sidney (Sid) Weiner, Firefighter, with the No. 7 Township Fire Department located in Craven County died on December 15, 2015. Sid was a very dedicated member of the department and held several positions with the department. Sid was a friend and confidant to many folks within the community and across the state. Sid served as an advisor to the Board of Directors with the Local Government Federal Credit Union.
A memorial service for Sid will be conducted with fire department honors on Sunday, December 20, 2015 at 2:00PM at the Cotton Funeral Home chapel located at 2201 Neuse Boulevard, New Bern, NC.
