A Memorial Service and gathering of family, firefighters and the Brasstown community will be held on Saturday August 22, 2015 starting at 1 pm at the J.C. Campbell Folk School, One Folk School Road, Brasstown, NC to honor the life and service of Fire Chief James D. Robinson.
Brasstown Firefighters in a procession of fire apparatus will transport Chief Robinson’s remains from the Brasstown Fire Department to the School beginning at 1300. A small memorial service is planned at the schools festival grounds once the procession has arrived and will be followed by a gathering to include music, food and fellowship of family, firefighters and the Brasstown community to honor Chief Robinson and his service to the community.
