I think what the NCFFF did for Nancy Thomas and the rest of the family of Gene Thomas is wonderful. My husband is a Volunteer Fireman, and his "real job" is a Deputy Sheriff. Nancy is also a good friend of mine, so this really hit home for me. It is nice to know that if my husband were to ever meet the same fate as Gene, people like you would be there to help. Thank you so much.

To all the family and fireman at pine level fire I am so sorry for the lost of your fire cheif geroge croker I myself have known george for years. You lost a great fire cheif and more than likely the best firend anyone could ever ask for. You guys are in our thoughts an prayers at my department we know how it is we lost a firefighter a few years back. R.I.P George

i am the daughter of josph l. bilka who passed away on may 21,2006 responding to a call. I want to say to those who lost a loved one one I still feel your pain. To those who new my father and included me when his widow and stepsons tried to leave me out I Thank You and also Thank You to the N.C.F.F.F for keeping my father and all firefighters alive in our hearts.
