Hello Fellow Firefighters and Family am from Maryland and moved to NC in 2006 in Engelhard NC, been a Volunteer for 20 yrs and am FULLBLOOD Brotherhood fellow, recently sign up to join Bunyan station #73 in Beaufort county. live in Washington City right on the line so plan to join Washington too, However my Prayers and Brotherhood heart to all those who lost love ones and to those who still serve...GOD BLESS ALL Volunteers/Careers....

I think what the NCFFF did for Nancy Thomas and the rest of the family of Gene Thomas is wonderful. My husband is a Volunteer Fireman, and his "real job" is a Deputy Sheriff. Nancy is also a good friend of mine, so this really hit home for me. It is nice to know that if my husband were to ever meet the same fate as Gene, people like you would be there to help. Thank you so much.

To all the family and fireman at pine level fire I am so sorry for the lost of your fire cheif geroge croker I myself have known george for years. You lost a great fire cheif and more than likely the best firend anyone could ever ask for. You guys are in our thoughts an prayers at my department we know how it is we lost a firefighter a few years back. R.I.P George
