PEMBROKE (ROBESON) Matthew Douglas Tramel, 18, of the Pembroke FD, was killed this morning in a single vehicle MVC while responding to a fire call. HE WAS NOT WEARING HIS SEATBELT.
ROBESON COUNTY - A teenage volunteer fireman and rescue worker was killed early this morning when his car wrecked as he was on the way to a fire. He was not wearing his seatbelt.

that Salem Volunteer Fire Department Firefighter Greg Cooke, Unit
Number 18-6, the Secretary of the SVFD, has passed away at Wake Medical
Center.
